Programs & Activities

Children develop skills in 5 main areas of development:

1. Cognitive Development: The ability to learn and solve problems

2. Social and Emotional Development: The ability to interact with others, create social relationships with peers their age, and learn self-control

3. Speech and Language Development: The ability to understand and use language

4. Fine Motor skill Development: The ability to use small muscles; examples include holding a crayon to draw, picking up a spoon

5. Gross Motor skill Development: The ability to use large muscles; examples includes running,  jumping, and playing outside
